March 2024: Dr. Avci is the 2024 recipient of the AISC Terry Peshia Early Career Faculty Award (AISC: American Institute of Steel Construction). The Terry Peshia award honors full-time, tenure track faculty in civil or architectural engineering who have made significant contributions in steel research and teaching. Link
